Balboa Park is the heart of San Diego. It is where people find community, learn about culture, history and science, and can escape to nature in the middle of one of the country’s largest cities. To honor this, Forever Balboa Park’s annual sPARK Awards seeks to recognize the people and organizations who help make this possible. We gather to celebrate projects and collaborations that reach far beyond the Park’s 1,200 acres, strengthening our communities, improving access to the arts and culture, and helping steward Balboa Park’s environment.
