Your Team Can Volunteer in Balboa Park
Balboa Park is the heart of San Diego and with 1,200+ acres, one of the largest urban parks in the nation. Our corporate and community partners provide Balboa Park with the critical resources needed to maintain and enhance all aspects of the park, demonstrating their commitment to uplifting the community while participating in unique, offsite team building experiences. Together, we can improve and advanceBalboa Park for future generations to enjoy and find inspiration.
Your tax deductible donation to Forever Balboa Park directly enables our programs and initiatives, aimed at creating a more sustainable, accessible, and extraordinary Balboa Park for all. Forever Balboa Park is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; Tax ID #33-0849518.
Service Day Opportunities
Your Contribution
$2,500 covers the cost of litter disposal, gloves, compostable garbage bags, staff logistical coordination, and supports Forever Balboa Park’s park enhancement programs.
Duration: 3 hours
Participants: 25 max
Beautify Balboa Park
Bring your team to help us keep San Diego’s gem sparkling. Remove litter and debris from the park. All supplies and equipment provided.

Your Contribution
$10,000 covers the cost of garden tools, gloves, mulch, plants, flowers, and any other supplies needed to keep our park’s gardens thriving.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Participants: 25 max
Help the Park's Gardens Flourish
Bring your team to weed, mulch, and tend to one of Balboa Park’s lush gardens.

Your Contribution
$12,000 covers the cost of gloves, tools, irrigation, fertilizer and debris removal.
Duration: 3-4 hours

Tend to the Trees
Help nurture Balboa Park’s urban forest by giving young trees the resources they need to thrive. Tasks may include watering trees, weeding, laying down mulch, and/or installing tree stakes.

Nonprofit Volunteers and Community Partners
Forever Balboa Park understands the desire to give back to the community. We also recognize that resources are precious. Charitable contributions help our organization offset the costs associated with hosting, training, and leading service projects in the park. With that said, it is our goal to provide equitable access to high quality service opportunities for all organizations/groups looking to give back to Balboa Park.
